Rasika Mahajan
As G-VERSITY (Achieving Gender Diversity) is slowly coming to an end, we are happy to introduce the Final Podcast Series with all of our researchers to you, where each of them talks about insightful and useful findings from their work as well as discusses opportunities arising from their research.
In this podcast episode, G-Versity early stage researcher, Rasika Mahajan speaks about applying the intersectional feminist and postcolonial feminist theories to (gender) diversity trainings for fostering more social inclusion and social equality. Rasika points out that those trainings often do not take into account the intersections of gender with other social categories such as race, class, religion, age, disability (or colonial history) and have been criticized for coming from western epistemology and not considering the needs of participants from the so-called global south.
